At the recent meeting of the NJ CAR Board of Trustees, four long-term NJ CAR employees were recognized for reaching 20 and 25-year employment milestones with the Coalition.
Sue Sbarro joined the Coalition in 1993 and currently serves as Director of NJ CAR’s Motor Vehicle Operation. She just completed 25 years of service to the Coalition.
Eileen Nuttall is also celebrating 25 years with NJ CAR. She began as an Agency typist. In addition to currently managing the DSP office, she also teaches at the Title Clerk Certification classes throughout the year.
Phyllis Jacobs joined NJ CAR as a DSP Processor and was an Agency typist until a few years ago, when she agreed to transition to our Title Services department. She just completed 25 years at NJ CAR.
Odelia Johnson was a typist at the DSP when she joined NJ CAR back in 1993. Odelia now performs Document Verification for the Online Office and handles all the Lease and Rental transactions.
Sheri Bond first started working at NJ CAR in 1998 as a typist. As the workload shifted from the manual Agency to our Online program she became a Document Verifier, a position she continues to hold.
Jerome Harris began working at NJ CAR part-time while he was still in college and over the past 20 years he has been a collator, checkwriter, and saferoom attendant. He took over responsibility for shipping and inventory control about 10 years ago and coordinates the shipment of up to 600 canvas bags of dealer work and 130 boxes of license plates to our members each day.
