The New Jersey Green Automotive Repair Program (NJGARP) is offering a two-hour Training Workshop on Thursday, October 27, 2011 to assist Service Managers and/or Parts Managers with implementing and managing “Green Practices” at your facility. The Training Workshop will cover the following topics: Waste Reduction; Pollution Prevention; Energy and Resource Conservation; Innovative Technologies; Green Practices; Available Green Equipment and Products; Sustainability; and Cost Benefits [Return on Investment (ROI)] for instituting “green practices.” The Training Workshop will be held at NJ CAR Headquarters from 9 a.m.–11 a.m. Cost of the training is $120/person; however, if your dealership has been certified by NJGARP as a “Green Facility”, the cost is reduced to only $60. Additional details regarding the Workshop are included on the attached Flyer & Registration Form. The purpose of the New Jersey Automotive Repair Program is to foster greater implementation of “Green Practices” among automotive repair facilities and to recognize those facilities that implement such measures. The program is a partnership between the New Jersey Coalition of Automotive Retailers (NJ CAR), the New Jersey Gasoline C-Store Automotive Association (NJGCA), and the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers (AASP), with oversight by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJMVC).
