HazMat Certification

IS IT TIME TO RENEW YOUR DOT HAZMAT CERTIFICATION?

Mike Lucas, Safety Manager at Environmental Risk Services, will host this very informative two-hour seminar that will cover federal Department of Transportation (DOT) HazMat training.

DOT HazMat Certification is required for all parts personnel and other dealership employees that handle hazardous materials. This 2-hour class will be function-specific and cover how to properly label and ship vehicle parts such as airbags, seat belt pretensioners, electric vehicle (EV) batteries, and fuel system components.

This class will satisfy initial AND three-year refresher training requirements for dealerships.

In addition, registered dealerships will have HazMat support from ERS, during the three-year certification period
