Two students from the Atlantic County Institute of Technology, Thomas Hand and Kyle Hesse, were recently sponsored by NJCAR in the National Automotive Technology Competition at New York City’s Jacob Javitz Center on April 9-11, 2012. Designated “Team Mercedes” and working on an E350 Sedan, the competitors measured, scoped and diagnosed their way through the two-day event. The Coalition also wishes to thank David Long, Service Director Tige Vitale, and Shop Foreman Mike Scimeca of The New Mercedes Benz of Atlantic City for making a vehicle available to the school for the students to hone their diagnostic skills prior to the event.
