NJ CAR joins with the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) in urging members and their employees to support the Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Fund of the American Red Cross. The Red Cross set up the fund to support disaster relief efforts in Japan after the March 11 devastating earthquake and tsunami. A massive 9.0 magnitude earthquake rocked the Pacific Ocean and nearby Japan leaving nearly 10,000 people feared dead. More than half a million people have been evacuated and many others are homeless without food, water and electricity.
