New Jersey’s Chip Miller Named 2011 TMQDA National Finalist

NJ CAR is proud to announce that Charles “Chip” Miller, President of Miller Ford Lincoln Subaru in Mount Holly, was named one of four regional finalists for the 2011 TIME Dealer of the Year at the NADA Convention this past weekend in SanFrancisco, California.The TIME Dealer of the Year Award is one of the automobile industry’s most prestigious and highly coveted awards for new-car dealers. The award honors new-car dealers throughout the United States who exhibit exceptional performance in their dealerships and perform distinguished community service. Chip Miller was chosen to represent New Jersey in the national competition—one of only 52 automobile dealers, from 17,000 nationwide, nominated for the 42nd annual award. The award is sponsored by TIME Magazine, in association with Goodyear, and in cooperation with the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA). A panel of faculty members from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan selects one finalist from each of the four NADA regions and one national Dealer of the Year.New Jersey dealers are finding a second home on the NADA stage. This is the fifth year out of the last eight that a New Jersey dealer has been recognized center-stage at the TMQDA Award Presentation—Shau-wai Lam in 2004 and finalists David Long in 2006, David Wintrode in 2007, David Sickel in 2009 and Chip Miller at this year’s ceremony.
