New Jersey’s Neighborhood New Car & Truck Dealerships Raise Funds for Children with Cancer & Blood Disorders

Oct 13, 2025

Thank you to the dealers who have donated to The Valerie Fund’s 2025 Campaign: The Road Ahead!

To date, The Road Ahead campaign has raised more than $57,500 dollars. Franchised neighborhood new car and truck dealerships throughout New Jersey have participated in various fundraising initiatives to help support children of The Valerie Fund since 2014. Their generosity has made an extraordinary impact on the lives of the more than 6,500 children with cancer, sickle cell disease, and other blood disorders that The Valerie Fund cares for each year.

The Valerie Fund has supported comprehensive health care services in New Jersey for tens of thousands of critically ill children since 1977. The organization’s eight hospital-based Children’s Centers are located throughout the State so patients can receive medical care within one hour of their homes. One of their Children’s Centers is located in the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in Voorhees, NJ, and they also recently launched a Pediatric Pain & Palliative Care Program at Hackensack University Medical Center in Bergen County.

The Valerie Fund is here to treat the whole patient, guided by the philosophy: To truly heal children, their emotional, social, and developmental needs must be treated in addition to their medical needs. The Valerie Fund is fully committed to funding the psychosocial services not reimbursed by insurance, and their Children Centers go beyond treatment to help children and their families navigate the most difficult journey of their lives with compassion and expert care — all close to home.
