Procedure for Acquiring a New Jersey Replacement Title

Defined as: Acquiring a replacement for a damaged or incorrectly assigned title from NJ MVC.

Required Paperwork:

Original title MVS-2 Vehicle Correction Form with the word REPLACEMENT boldly written across the top. The form must be completed and signed by the owner on the face of the title or a person with Power of Attorney to sign for the owner.
