Governor Murphy Nominates Sue Fulton To Head NJMVC

Feb 26, 2018

Governor Phil Murphy recently nominated Sue Fulton, an Army veteran and former global project lead at Pfizer Consumer Health, as Chief administrator of the Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC).

Ms.Fulton is a veteran of the United States Army and a 1980 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Most recently, she served as a Global Project Lead at Pfizer Consumer Health, a role in which she developed programs to extend access to products for low-income customers.

New Jerseyans have frequently complained about the customer service, long lines and confusion at MVC offices and Ms. Fulton has committed to “make it our aim every day to better serve the people of New Jersey.”

During the campaign, Governor Murphy said he wanted the MVC to work on implementing automatic voter registration, and has also recently reiterated his administration’s commitment to providing drivers licenses to undocumented residents.

NJ CAR will work to build a relationship with the new Chief Administrator as she officially takes the reigns at the MVC.
