(ECM), will host this very informative full-day Seminar that will cover several new and revised Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) issues, and provide federal Department of Transportation (DOT) HazMat Certification for attendees.

The first half of the Seminar will focus on OSHA’s revised chemical Hazard Communication requirements under the new Global Harmonization System (GHS), which take effect on June 16, 2016, as well as, the Administration’s revised recordkeeping rules. The Seminar will cover the GHS compliant labels and new, mandatory 16-section safety data sheets (SDSs). The OSHA-related section of the Seminar will also cover updated recordkeeping requirements dealers must be aware of regarding work-related injuries and illnesses.

The second half of the Seminar will focus on the DOT’s HazMat Certification. Learn what training is required by federal and State regulations applicable to dealerships. All attendees will receive their DOT HazMat Certificate. The HazMat Training includes topics such as: general awareness and familiarization, function-specific criteria, security and safety. This Seminar will satisfy initial and three-year refresher federal DOT training requirements for HazMat Certification.
