Due to flooding in the Trenton area, NJ CAR facilities are closed today, Monday, April 04, 2005. Both the Motor Vehicle Operation at 770 River Road and NJ CAR Headquarters at 856 River Road are inaccessible and without electricity at this time. Therefore, this message is being sent from a remote location. The AADI courier will make deliveries to all scheduled locations that are not affected by flooding on Monday, April 4th. It may be prudent to retain work intended for the Dealer Agency until NJ CAR is able to determine the full impact of this situation. As the extent of flood damage is unknown at this time, we are unable to determine whether NJ CAR will be operational in 24 hours. Additional information will be released as soon as it is available. Dealerships with access to an Online Registration system (triVIN or CVR) are encouraged to continue processing motor vehicle work in-house. We apologize for any inconvenience this situation causes to NJ CAR members.
