Adam Kraushaar Named New Jersey’s 2015 TIME Dealer of the Year Award Winner

NJ CAR is proud to announce that Adam Kraushaar of Lester Glenn Auto Group was recently selected as NewJersey’s 2015 TIME Dealer of the Year (TDOY) Award winner. The TDOY recognizes new vehicle dealers in the United States for exceptional performance in their dealerships, combined with distinguished community service. Nominations for the TIME Dealer of the Year Award are submitted by NJCAR members, and a winner is chosen by the NJCAR Awards Nominating Committee, made up of the sitting Chairman and all past winners of this prestigious honor. A nominee must be a member of NADA and NJ CAR for at least five years. The individual should spend at least 60% of his or her time involved in dealership affairs. Adam will represent NewJersey in the National competition, which takes place at the NADA Convention in San Francisco, California in January 2015.Adam is the third generation operator of Lester Glenn Auto Group, following in the footsteps of his father, Stanley Kraushaar and his grandfather, Lester Glenn. Adam grew up working summer jobs in various dealership departments, but after college, he pursued a career on Wall Street for 16 years. He joined his family and the Lester Glenn team in November 2006, when the company had approximately 80 employees under two rooftops- one representing Buick, Pontiac and GMC and the other representing Hyundai and Subaru.In the past eight years, Adam has been pivotal in helping the Lester Glenn Auto Group grow to approximately 500 employees across eight franchised dealership locations representing Buick, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Hyundai, Jeep, Mazda, RAM and Subaru. In addition, the company has also opened a collision center and a car rental facility.Adam and Lester Glenn are also extremely involved in multiple charitable organizations, including Hope on Wheels, Autism Speaks, Wounded Warriors and many others.Adam is married, with two children. NJ CAR wishes Adam great success, as he represents NewJersey in the National competition.
