It is with deep sadness and a sense of loss that we report the passing of Richard N. Kull, a former Chairman of the American International Automobile Dealers Association (AIADA) and father of Lawrence(Larry)Kull, NJ CAR’s current Treasurer.Richard was born on November 15, 1929 and spent nine years in the U.S. Coast Guard before building a successful dealership group operating throughout New Jersey and Florida. He was former Chairman of the Board of the Ocean City Tabernacle and driving force behind the children’s ministry. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, the Masonic Lodge in Mamaroneck, New Jersey and the Elks of Brick Township in New Jersey. Richard also served as President of the Brick Township Board of Education from 1957-1959 and is a former President of the New Jersey Affiliate of the American Heart Association.Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Anne; sons Lawrence (Deborah), Richard (Robin), Stephen (Carolyn) and John; daughter Susan Lanzavecchia (Peter); son-in-law James Gee, as well as many other family members. He was predeceased by wife Dana Gaines Kull, parents Blanche Greenwood and RichardN.Kull, Sr. and daughter Sandra Gee.NJ CAR’s condolences go out to the family and friends of Richard N. Kull.
